Measure your skills

Ted Cruz - master of hate
Not everyone starts off as master in the art of hate. It takes time and practice.
How do you know if you are successful in the art of hate? We all can’t come out of the gates and suddenly find ourselves masters. It took people like Ted Cruz and John Cornyn years to develop effective hating skills.

But you still have ways to measure your success. One of the easiest is to find people who vent rage and anger on your behalf. Look particularly for people who:

  • Use only capital letters.
  • Make largely nonsensical and irrational comments.
  • Make ad hominem statements, often with lots of slander.
BarBara Ann Ferri’s FB cover photo.
Take for example a certain BarBara Ann Ferri. Her Facebook postings are terrific. In a response to a comment that made light of Trump and the GOP, she wrote:

GO AHEAD…WHO THE HELL CARES…U ARE NOTHNG BUT THAT DROOLING TOAD WHO CAN’T THINK FOR HIMSELF AND IS SO JEALOUS OF A SUCCESSFUL MAN…
-FB post, 20170208 0245.

Whoever is inspiring BarBara Ann Ferri is on his or her way to becoming a master in the art of hate. Notice the spelling mistakes, the all cap messages, and the attempts to demean and degrade. If you are able to stoke rage and anger in people so that they write posts like this, then you are on your way to becoming a master in the art of hate.

As you get good in the art of hate look to find and inspire more people like BarBara. Beware though, if you yourself vent anger and rage, then you are not mastering the art of hate. The art of hate is the art of coercing others to make angry statements, not you. So don’t look to BarBara for your example of a master of the art of hate. Look to the person who inspires her.
